Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you love the variety and flexibility that supply work offers? We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Specialist Support Assistants to join our team, working across primary mainstream and specialist school settings in and around Felixstowe. This role is ideal for individuals who want flexibility, enjoy building positive relationships with pupils, and are committed to helping every child achieve their potential. What We Offer Flexible working patterns – choose between 1–5 days per week Advance notice of bookings wherever possible Opportunities for daily supply and long‑term supply contracts A variety of settings including mainstream primary, SEND bases, and specialist schools Supportive local team with a strong presence in Felixstowe schools Your Responsibilities As a SEND Specialist Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs Adapt learning materials and activities to support individual progress Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Support children with social, emotional, behavioural, or communication needs

The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, you must have: Minimum Grade 4 (C) in GCSE Maths & English Full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel between schools may be required) Experience supporting children with SEND (school, nursery, or care settings all considered) A positive, patient, and resilient approach to supporting young learners
