We are seeking a compassionate, proactive and reliable SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school team. In this role, you will work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties, supporting them to access learning and thrive in the classroom. This position is perfect for someone with experience in SEN, or anyone with a genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone with experience supporting children with SEN, whether gained in a school setting or through transferable roles. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and nurturing approach, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for working collaboratively with staff, pupils, and external professionals.
