Are you a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a flexible teaching role in Wickford? We are working with a network of primary schools seeking reliable and enthusiastic supply teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across Years 3 to 6. Whether you’re looking to work regularly or only on selected days, this opportunity allows you to tailor your schedule around your availability. As a supply teacher, you’ll gain experience across a variety of primary schools in Wickford, each offering a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Opportunities are available within your preferred Key Stage 2 year groups, allowing you to focus on the age range where you feel most confident and effective. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy the variety that supply teaching provides while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences. Schools require cover for both planned and short-notice absences, with assignments ranging from single days to ongoing placements.
