New opportunity! Teaching Assistant – Bishops Stortford

4myschools are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Bishop’s Stortford, starting after October half term in November 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will help create a positive and engaging classroom experience while supporting children to achieve their full potential.

• Contract duration: Temporary (Short Term)
• Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 8.30 – 3.30
• Age groups: Primary School

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is desirable. The successful candidate will be able to build positive relationships with pupils, demonstrate patience and adaptability, and work effectively as part of a team.
