New opening! Teaching Assistant (TA) / SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Flexible Supply Work – Beccles
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA), SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or someone with relevant transferable skills who is passionate about supporting children? Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in schools? At 4myschools, we have exciting opportunities available following the award of a new trust-wide partnership contract, creating increased demand for high-quality support staff across a network of schools. This means a consistent flow of opportunities, including both pre-booked placements and same-day morning bookings, giving you the flexibility to choose how and when you work. We are currently recruiting for a welcoming and community-focused primary school with a nursery provision situated near Beccels, Suffolk. The school provides education within a faith-based setting and promotes values including compassion, resilience and respect. Staff are committed to supporting pupils both academically and personally, creating a nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. The school’s most recent inspection highlighted strong early years provision, effective systems for identifying and supporting pupils with additional needs, and a positive commitment to inclusion and safeguarding. As part of a wider academy trust, the school also demonstrates a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development. As a Teaching Assistant and/or SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEND professionals to support the whole class, small groups or 1:1 pupils. You may support children with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs and learning difficulties. Responsibilities will include adapting learning activities, encouraging participation, promoting independence, supporting emotional regulation, assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils access learning in a safe and positive environment. Every day will bring new opportunities to make a genuine impact on a child’s educational journey.
