Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching work in Felixstowe? We are seeking enthusiastic Year 1 and Year 2 Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Felixstowe and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, building positive relationships with pupils, and making a difference in Key Stage 1 classrooms. About the Schools You will be working with a selection of supportive primary schools that are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners. These schools place great importance on developing children’s confidence, independence, and key literacy and numeracy skills during their early years of education. Supply teachers play a valued role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining positive classroom routines. The Role As a Year 1/2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning where provided, and maintain a positive learning environment. You will support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development while ensuring classroom routines remain consistent. The role requires flexibility, confidence, and the ability to quickly adapt to different school settings.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting young learners. You will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and be able to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Strong communication skills, effective behaviour management, and a positive attitude are essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs.
