A primary school in Wickford, Essex is seeking a confident and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from 4th January for a two-term assignment. This long-term teaching opportunity would suit a committed professional with strong classroom management skills, high expectations of pupil achievement, and the ability to take full responsibility for a class. Please note, this position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs). This primary school is looking for a dedicated teacher who can quickly become an integral part of the school community. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive team environment focused on maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil behaviour. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The school is looking for an experienced teacher who is confident leading a Key Stage 2 classroom and can establish strong routines from the outset. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent behaviour management and a proactive approach to teaching and learning. A thorough understanding of effective classroom practice is essential, and knowledge of WalkThrus pedagogy would be advantageous. You should be organised, adaptable, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
