Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher with experience in Upper Key Stage 2? We are looking for a confident Year 6 Supply Teacher to work across welcoming primary schools in Sudbury, supporting pupils during this crucial stage of their primary education. The Role As a Year 6 Supply Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress and attainment. Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments where required. Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement. Follow school planning and ensure continuity of learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive. Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom routines.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for someone who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has recent experience teaching in Year 6 or Upper Key Stage 2. Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs preparation. Is flexible, reliable, and able to build positive relationships quickly.
