This role is based across a range of primary schools supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils. Schools offer varied environments, from well‑structured settings with established routines to more flexible classrooms where adaptability is key. As a day‑to‑day supply teacher, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning during staff absence, stepping into different classrooms with confidence. You can expect welcoming teams who value reliable support and a consistent approach to behaviour and classroom management.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate is confident delivering lessons across KS1 and KS2 and can quickly adapt to different school expectations. A flexible and organised approach is essential, along with the ability to engage pupils positively and maintain a calm learning environment. You should be comfortable following lesson plans provided and managing varied classroom dynamics. A proactive attitude and willingness to work across different settings on a flexible basis will support success in this role.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools is beneficial. 
Ability to travel to different schools as bookings arise is important. 
Strong behaviour management skills are essential for short‑term cover roles. 
Flexibility to accept work at short notice is advantageous.
