Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1? Are you looking for flexible supply work with the possibility of securing a long-term position? We are working with a number of welcoming primary schools in and around Bury St Edmunds who are seeking dedicated EYFS & KS1 Supply Teachers to provide high-quality teaching and support. This role offers the flexibility of supply teaching, with the potential for longer-term placements for the right candidate. The Role As an EYFS & KS1 Supply Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Follow school planning where provided and adapt lessons as required. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1. A strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and KS1 curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A flexible and positive approach to teaching. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
