We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Teacher to provide short-term cover for staff absences at a friendly and supportive primary school near Downham Market, Norfolk, from the week commencing 14th September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils during staff absences. Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

A qualified and adaptable KS1 Teacher who thrives in different classroom environments and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. They will have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, excellent classroom management skills, and the confidence to deliver engaging lessons with minimal preparation. The successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to maintain continuity of learning during staff absences. They will demonstrate a nurturing approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping young children develop both academically and socially. Experience working on a supply basis would be advantageous, although applications from both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) would be welcomed. A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children are essential.
