About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher with a passion for delivering engaging lessons and supporting young learners to achieve their full potential. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, although applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcomed. The successful teacher will be adaptable, reliable, and confident stepping into different classroom environments to provide high-quality cover at short notice. They will possess strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive, proactive approach to teaching. A team player who can quickly build relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, the ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour while embracing the opportunity to gain valuable experience and expand their professional network within local schools around Wisbech and the surrounding Norfolk area.
