Our client schools across Essex are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to support their Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes on a flexible basis. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and creating a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to achieve their best. Opportunities are available on both short-term and long-term assignments, offering flexibility to suit your availability while allowing you to gain experience across a variety of school settings.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. You will be a confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a flexible approach to working in different school environments. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to broaden their experience. Candidates must hold a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Due to the nature of supply work, access to your own transport is highly desirable to enable travel to schools across Essex.

Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm
