Our partner primary schools in Grays are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. These schools pride themselves on creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. Supply Teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity of education, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring pupils remain focused and supported throughout the school day. With opportunities available on a flexible basis, this role is ideal for teachers looking to achieve a healthy work-life balance while gaining experience across a variety of welcoming school settings.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm
• Age groups: Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This position would suit a confident and professional teacher who enjoys the flexibility and variety that supply teaching offers. You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff, adapt to different classroom environments and maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour management. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) alike. Candidates must hold a minimum Grade 4 (C) GCSE in English and Maths and ideally have access to their own transport to travel between schools in Grays and the surrounding areas.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 
Minimum Grade 4 (C) GCSE in English and Maths.
