Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse, Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or EYFS Practitioner looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? At 4myschools, we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable early years professionals to support a welcoming primary academy in Suffolk on both pre-booked assignments and morning call-out bookings. Whether you’re looking for two days a week or full-time supply work, we have a range of opportunities available throughout the academic year. Working within the nursery and early years environment, you will support children with their learning, development and wellbeing through engaging activities and structured play. Duties may include supporting small group learning, encouraging social and communication skills, assisting with personal care where required, preparing classroom resources, promoting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive. There may also be opportunities to support children with additional needs, making this an ideal role for those with SEND experience or an interest in inclusive education. The school is part of a successful multi-academy trust and provides education from Nursery through to Key Stage 2. Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be proactive and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.
The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
We are keen to hear from Level 3 qualified Early Years professionals, including Nursery Nurses, Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and EYFS Practitioners. Applicants must hold a minimum of Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths and have previous experience working with children in an educational, childcare, nursery, preschool, children’s centre, family support or similar setting. We also welcome candidates with transferable skills, knowledge and expertise, particularly those with experience supporting child development, communication needs, behavioural needs, SEND or safeguarding responsibilities. The successful candidate will be adaptable, nurturing, able to travel reliably to the school and available for flexible work between 8:30am and 3:30pm during term time only. Access to transport is highly desirable due to the nature of supply work and occasional short-notice bookings.
