A primary school in Basildon, Essex is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from 2nd November until Easter. This long-term teaching opportunity offers full classroom responsibilities and is paid in line with the teacher pay scale. We are looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning throughout this long-term assignment. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and requires someone who can confidently manage all aspects of classroom practice.

• Contract duration: Contract (Fixed Duration)
• Contract type: FULL_TIME – Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 1

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be a committed and organised teacher with strong classroom management skills and a passion for supporting children’s development. You will be confident in taking full responsibility for a Year 2 class and maintaining high expectations for both achievement and behaviour.
