The school is a mixed secondary setting with a clear focus on consistent classroom practice and positive behaviour for learning. Staff work collaboratively within departments to ensure pupils receive a well‑sequenced and relevant curriculum. The Computing and IT department plays an important role in preparing pupils for further study and the digital demands of modern life. Teachers are supported with established schemes of work and access to appropriate resources.

• Contract type: FULL_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This role would suit a Computing and IT teacher who is confident delivering technical content in a clear and accessible way. You will be organised, adaptable, and able to engage pupils with a range of abilities. A calm and professional approach to behaviour management is essential, alongside a willingness to work collaboratively with departmental colleagues. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and those earlier in their career.

What you’ll need to apply

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children.
