We are an education recruitment agency working in partnership with a variety of secondary schools, and we are currently seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis. This role involves supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work and maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment. Supply cover can be day-to-day, short-term, or ongoing, offering flexibility while gaining experience across different secondary school settings.

• Contract Duration: Ongoing
• Contract Type: Supply – Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Age groups: Primary School

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively. You should have experience working with young people (preferably in a school or similar setting), strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly engage students. A calm, professional approach, good organisational skills, and a clear understanding of safeguarding are essential. This role is well suited to aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced school staff seeking flexible work within secondary education.
