4myschools are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious practitioner looking to inspire pupils during a crucial stage of their educational journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic and personal potential. You will plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons, monitor pupil progress, contribute to wider school initiatives and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child. The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering inspiring lessons that challenge, motivate and engage learners of all abilities.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers who can demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge and a commitment to raising standards. Candidates should possess strong classroom management skills, a creative approach to teaching and the ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support. A minimum of Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English and Maths is essential. The successful applicant will be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm during term time and should have access to reliable transport due to the nature of school locations. A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed are key to thriving in this role.
