We are seeking talented and adaptable DT Supply Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools in the local area. The Role As a DT Supply Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Teach specialisms including Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Food Technology where applicable. Inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Maintain a safe and productive workshop or classroom environment. Follow school policies and lesson plans provided by the school. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support positive learning outcomes.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Design Technology within secondary schools. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Knowledge of health and safety procedures within DT environments. A flexible, reliable, and professional approach. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
