We are seeking a dedicated Science Supply Teacher to work within a secondary school setting, providing daily cover with the possibility of a longer-term placement for the right candidate. Staff work collaboratively to support pupil achievement and encourage a culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations. About the Role As a Science Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, following pre-planned work and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning. Key responsibilities include: Delivering Science lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Managing classroom behaviour effectively. Ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Following school policies and safeguarding procedures. Providing feedback to teaching staff where required.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience teaching Science within a secondary setting. Be flexible, reliable, and professional. Have strong classroom management skills. Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
