Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Ipswich and the surrounding areas? We are seeking a dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming primary schools, with the potential for longer-term placements for the right candidate. This role offers the opportunity to experience different school environments while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development. About the School You will be working within a variety of primary schools across Ipswich and the surrounding areas. These schools are committed to providing engaging learning experiences, promoting pupil wellbeing, and creating supportive environments where both children and staff can thrive. Each setting offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 2. About the Role As a Year 5/6 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning where provided, and ensure pupils remain motivated and focused throughout the school day. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 2

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a teacher who is flexible, confident, and passionate about supporting children’s educational development. The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Years 5 and 6. Be able to adapt quickly to different school settings. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Essential requirements

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).
