Immediate opportunity! Learning Support Assistant – Cromer
We are currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our supply pool, supporting a specialist SEND school in Cromer on a daily supply basis. This welcoming special provision has 193 students on roll and supports children and young people aged 7 to 19, across both primary and secondary age ranges. The school caters for students with a diverse range of learning difficulties and offers a structured, nurturing environment where high-quality support makes a meaningful difference. This is an excellent opportunity for Learning Support Assistants looking for flexible work within a rewarding SEND setting, with the chance to gain experience across different age groups while being supported by an established and collaborative staff team.
- Contract Duration: Flexible: daily and long-term supply opportunities
- Contract Type: Supply – Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm
- Age groups: Primary & Secondary School
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should be motivated and comfortable working with pupils in a SEN School setting.
We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
Experience working or volunteering with SEND children or adults in an educational setting, experience supporting children or adults with SEND such as ASD, ADHD as well as emotional and behavioural difficulties. The right candidate must have flexibility, sensitivity, patience and resilience. Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications not essential. Experience in Health and Social Care also welcome.
