Primary Supply Teacher (QTS) – Norwich & Surrounding Areas Location: Norwich and surrounding areas Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Contract: Flexible Daily Supply, Short-Term and Long-Term Opportunities Pay: Competitive daily rates At 4myschools, we are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout Norwich and the surrounding areas. This exciting opportunity is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and flexibility whilst making a positive impact on children’s education. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will provide cover for planned and unplanned teacher absences across Reception through to Year 6, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils’ learning and development. You will be responsible for following lesson plans, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively, assessing pupil engagement, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times. Whether covering a single day, a short-term absence, or a longer-term role, you will play a key role in providing continuity of learning and helping pupils reach their full potential. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, offering valuable experience in a variety of educational settings.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applications are welcomed from experienced Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum across Reception to Year 6. You will be confident adapting to different classroom environments, establishing positive relationships quickly, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs, would be highly advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent classroom management skills, strong communication abilities, and a flexible, proactive approach to teaching. Due to the variety of school locations across Norwich and the surrounding areas, access to your own transport or the ability to travel independently is highly desirable.
