We are recruiting for a qualified Science Teacher (Physics specialism preferred) to join a successful secondary school in Witham from January 2025. KS3–KS4 delivery with optional KS5. The school is a popular and oversubscribed 11–18 provider with a strong science department and excellent student outcomes. Staff benefit from reduced marking policies and regular well-being afternoons.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

You’re a versatile team player who can teach across all sciences when needed, with a strong preference for Physics. You’re dependable, solution-oriented, and confident using varied assessment strategies.
