This secondary academy provides a structured and ambitious learning environment for pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. Staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and maintain high expectations for both achievement and behaviour. The Science department plays a central role in the curriculum, supporting students to develop practical, analytical and investigative skills. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to a positive school culture where pupils feel supported and challenged in equal measure.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. They will be confident managing a full teaching timetable, including planning, assessment and monitoring pupil progress. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students are important for success in this role. The ideal applicant will be adaptable, organised and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential in Science.
