About the Role As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences. Opportunities are available across a range of subject areas, making this role ideal for both subject specialists and experienced general cover teachers. Key responsibilities include: Delivering engaging and effective lessons. Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Following school policies and safeguarding procedures. Monitoring student engagement and behaviour. Providing clear feedback to school staff following lessons.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience teaching within UK secondary schools. Are confident delivering lessons across their subject specialism or general cover. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Are reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to new environments. Are committed to promoting positive outcomes for young people.
