This role involves working across a range of secondary schools, providing general cover for pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4. Schools are typically focused on maintaining a positive learning environment where students can continue to make progress in the absence of their usual teacher. As a supply teacher, you will play an important part in ensuring lessons run smoothly and expectations are consistently upheld throughout the school day. The position offers variety, with opportunities to work in different classroom settings and support a broad range of subjects.

• Age groups: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be confident managing classrooms and able to build positive relationships with students quickly. They will be adaptable, organised and comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across different subject areas. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain engagement in learning are important for success in this role. A flexible approach and willingness to work in different school environments will be highly valued.
