New opening! SEN LSA – Northampton
We are currently seeking a full‑time SEN Teacher to join a warm, welcoming and well‑resourced SEND school in Northampton. The school supports children with a wide range of special educational needs, including SEMH, and provides a calm, safe and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive. Class sizes are small and grouped by ability rather than age, allowing learning to be fully personalised. Each class is supported by multiple experienced support staff, enabling teachers to focus on delivering high‑quality, individualised lessons. The school places strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and consistent routines throughout the day. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for primary‑aged pupils, ensuring that teaching is closely tailored to individual needs, abilities and EHCP targets. Teachers are expected to record and monitor pupil progress daily and adapt lessons as required to support development across academic, social and emotional areas. Working collaboratively with support staff is central to maintaining a positive, caring and structured classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher who is genuinely passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to children with additional needs. Experience supporting pupils with SEMH is highly beneficial, and Team Teach training is considered desirable. The successful teacher will bring strong relationship‑building skills, a nurturing approach and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for pupils who need it most.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with QTS. Previous experience working within SEN settings is highly desirable, although applicants with a strong understanding of SEMH and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs are also encouraged to apply.
