Current opening! SEN LSA – Northampton

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and nurturing SEND school in Northampton. The school supports pupils with a wide range of needs and abilities, including complex needs, and offers a calm, structured environment where every child is encouraged to flourish both academically and emotionally. In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils in accessing their learning, promoting positive engagement and helping to create a safe and encouraging classroom environment. The school values a caring, calm and child‑centred approach, and is seeking someone proactive, compassionate and genuinely passionate about supporting young people with SEN. You will be working with pupils with varied and sometimes complex needs, so the ability to adapt, use initiative and respond effectively to different situations is essential. Some personal care duties will be required as part of the role, and you will also be expected to help out as and when needed to ensure the smooth running of the school day. Having Team Teach training, or similar behaviour‑support training, is highly desirable. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone committed to making a difference in a nurturing specialist setting and helping every pupil reach their full potential.
