4myschools are proud to be supporting a network of friendly and community‑focused primary schools in Swaffham and nearby villages, who are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Primary Class Teachers to step in and provide high‑quality classroom cover. These schools are known for their nurturing ethos, positive behaviour cultures and collaborative staff teams, ensuring that supply teachers feel welcomed and supported from day one. In this role, you will take responsibility for delivering engaging, pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, maintaining continuity of learning and upholding the school’s routines and expectations. You will create a calm, purposeful learning environment, respond effectively to pupils’ individual needs, including those requiring additional or SEND support, and ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times. Clear communication with school staff and meaningful handovers at the end of the day will also be an important part of your role.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for teachers who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with previous experience working in UK primary school settings. Applicants should have a secure understanding of the primary curriculum at their chosen key stage, or demonstrable experience supporting pupils with special educational needs. You will be flexible, proactive and confident in managing classrooms in different school environments, with availability to work full school days (typically 8:30am–3:30pm) on an ad‑hoc, short‑term or longer‑term supply basis. Due to the rural locations of some schools in and around Swaffham, access to your own transport is highly advantageous.
