Are you a reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for rewarding school work in the Clacton area? At 4myschools, we are looking to register passionate TAs to support a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Clacton, Little Clacton, Weeley, Thorpe-le-Soken, Frinton and St Osyth. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, classroom support staff and aspiring education professionals who enjoy variety, thrive in different school environments and want flexible term-time only work. Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and bookings may range from day-to-day supply through to short-term and longer-term placements. In this role, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups, help prepare classroom resources, encourage positive behaviour for learning, and play an important part in creating a calm, inclusive and productive learning environment. You may support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 or secondary phases depending on your experience, and every day gives you the chance to make a real difference.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary and Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, tutoring, youth work or similar educational setting, with a genuine passion for helping pupils progress both academically and personally. You should have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent, and relevant classroom experience is highly valued. You will need to be dependable, proactive, calm under pressure and confident building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and other staff. As these supply opportunities will involve travel between schools in Clacton, Little Clacton, Weeley, Thorpe-le-Soken, Frinton and St Osyth, access to your own car is essential. We are especially keen to hear from candidates who can offer good availability across the week and who are committed to being a consistent and reliable presence in local schools.
