Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher who is committed to inspiring young people to develop a lifelong enjoyment of sport, fitness and healthy living. You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have the ability to deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies, combined with excellent classroom management skills, is essential. You will be a positive role model who can motivate and encourage students of all abilities, particularly in girls’ sport, helping to increase participation, confidence and achievement both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will be keen to contribute to extra-curricular activities, including sports clubs, competitions and fixtures, and will recognise the important role these opportunities play in student development. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are vital, as you will work closely with students, staff and parents to support pupil success. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to develop their careers within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
