In this role, you will support pupils in the classroom, work with small groups and individual learners, and help deliver engaging learning activities that encourage progress and confidence. You will build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents, support children’s social and emotional development, and contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children within a school setting and be passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development. A good understanding of classroom practice, child development and strategies to support individual learning needs is desirable. Applicants must hold a minimum Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths and demonstrate a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication skills, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding are essential for this role. Due to the location, access to your own transport would be advantageous. Candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday during term time and be committed to helping children achieve their full potential in a positive and supportive learning environment.

What you need to start

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
 
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one, will be required alongside satisfactory employment references
