A primary school in Basildon, Essex is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team from 28th September until February half-term. This is a full-time teaching opportunity with full classroom responsibilities, ideal for a teacher who enjoys taking ownership of a class and making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development. As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class throughout the placement and work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement.

• Contract duration: Temporary (Long Term)
• Contract type: FULL_TIME – Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 1

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and organised teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and creating an engaging learning environment where children can thrive. Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to planning and assessment will be beneficial in this role. Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 would be advantageous.
