New opening! Year 4 Teacher – Witham

We are working with a welcoming and well-structured primary school in the Witham area seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a long-term, part-time basis. This is a 3-day per week role with full classroom responsibility, but no planning required, allowing you to focus fully on delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress within the KS2 curriculum.

• Contract duration: Temporary (Long Term)
• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm
• Age groups: Primary School

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful teacher will be confident leading a Key Stage 2 classroom and able to quickly integrate into an existing team. You should be adaptable in your approach and comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning. A calm and organised teaching style will support continuity for pupils across the week. Previous experience within KS2, particularly lower KS2, will be beneficial.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
QTS is essential for this position. 
Experience delivering the KS2 curriculum is required. 
Strong behaviour management skills are important for maintaining consistency.
