4myschools is proud to be supporting the launch of a brand‑new early years setting opening in September 2026, and we are seeking a dedicated Early Years Assistant to join the team. This nurturing nursery supports children aged 2–4 years in a calm, engaging environment that promotes learning through play, exploration and positive relationships. As an Early Years Assistant, you will support the class team with daily routines, learning activities and care needs, help maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and encourage children’s confidence, communication and independence. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development who enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification and Paediatric First Aid, with experience in a nursery or similar early years setting. You will be available full‑time or part‑time, working term time only during school hours, with the role commencing September 2026. A patient, nurturing approach, willingness to support children with a range of needs, and reliable independent transport are essential. This role would suit someone committed to building a long‑term career in early years education.
