New opening! Learning Support Assistant – Harlow

At 4myschools, we are working closely with welcoming and inclusive schools across the local area to recruit dedicated Supply Learning Support Assistants who are passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for individuals who already have experience working with children and are looking for flexible, rewarding work within education. You will be supporting pupils either on a one‑to‑one basis or in small groups, assisting with classroom activities, adapting learning materials, promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils to engage with the curriculum. In some settings, you may also support children with additional needs, working alongside teachers and SEN staff to provide consistent, nurturing support throughout the school day. • Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 8:30 to 3:30

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have essential experience working with children, either within a school or a similar setting, and a genuine commitment to supporting young learners. Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable, particularly Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs or social, emotional and mental health needs. You should be reliable, adaptable and confident working across different classrooms and year groups. These are supply roles, offering flexible working to suit your availability, with opportunities ranging from day‑to‑day cover to longer‑term bookings during school hours. Due to the location of some schools, access to transport is beneficial.
