Located in Clacton, this primary school offers a welcoming and well-structured environment, supporting pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Long-term supply staff are fully embraced as part of the team, playing a vital role in providing continuity for pupils. The position involves supporting day-to-day teaching across the school, ensuring learning remains consistent, organised and purposeful over time.

• Contract duration: Temporary (Long Term)
• Contract type: FULL_TIME, PART_TIME – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm
• Age groups: Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This role would suit a flexible and committed teacher who is confident working across both KS1 and KS2. You will be comfortable adapting your approach to suit different age groups, supporting younger pupils with foundational skills while encouraging independence and progress in older classes. A calm, organised teaching style and the ability to build positive relationships quickly are key. Teachers who enjoy variety and contributing consistently over a longer placement will be well suited to this role.
