This is a primary school setting that provides a welcoming and well-structured environment for pupils across the early and primary years. The school promotes a calm and inclusive atmosphere where consistent routines support both learning and behaviour. As a supply teacher, you will step into established classroom settings, maintaining continuity for pupils while adapting to different year groups as needed. The role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work on both full-time and part-time bases depending on availability.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be confident in delivering lessons across the primary age range and comfortable adapting quickly to new classroom environments. A positive and proactive approach to behaviour management is essential, alongside the ability to maintain engagement in the absence of the regular class teacher. You should be flexible, organised, and able to build rapport with pupils and staff in a short space of time. Experience in a primary setting and a willingness to cover different year groups will support success in this role.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is preferred. 
Availability for both short-term and potential longer-term placements is beneficial. 
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are required.
