Immediate opportunity! KS2 Teacher – Lowestoft

This role is based across a range of primary schools in the Lowestoft area, supporting Key Stage 2 classes on a flexible, day-to-day basis. Each setting offers a structured and welcoming environment, with established routines that allow visiting teachers to step in and maintain continuity of learning. You will be working within supportive teams who value consistency and clear communication for pupils. The position suits someone who enjoys variety, as you may work across different year groups within KS2 depending on school needs.

  • Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
  • Age groups: Key Stage 2

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be confident delivering lessons across Key Stage 2 and able to adapt quickly to new classroom environments. A calm and organised approach is important, alongside the ability to engage pupils and manage behaviour effectively in the absence of the regular teacher. You should be flexible in your approach, willing to work across different schools and year groups. Building positive relationships with pupils and staff will support success in this varied supply role.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this role. 
Availability for flexible working, including short notice bookings, is beneficial. 
Strong classroom management skills are essential across KS2 year groups.
