The ideal candidate should be motivated  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, nurturing and highly motivated Early Years practitioner who is passionate about providing children with the very best start to their education. They will be committed to creating an engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are looking for a teacher who combines excellent classroom practice with warmth, creativity and a genuine love of working with young children. The successful candidate will have high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement while understanding the importance of developing children’s confidence, independence and social skills during these crucial early years. They will be able to create exciting learning opportunities that capture children’s curiosity and encourage exploration through both indoor and outdoor learning experiences. The ideal applicant will be a strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support children’s academic, social and emotional development. As a community-focused school, the ability to build positive relationships with families and develop trust within the wider school community will be essential. We are seeking someone who is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous professional development. They will embrace opportunities to share ideas, contribute to curriculum development and play an active role in the wider life of the school. A commitment to creative, solution-focused teaching and learning, alongside a passion for outdoor education and child-centred learning, would be highly valued. Knowledge or experience of early reading development and Read Write Inc. phonics would be advantageous, although specialist training is not essential.
