About the Role As an ICT Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain focused and motivated throughout the day. You will follow school planning where provided, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students’ learning during teacher absences.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Age groups: Secondary School

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff. The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Have experience teaching ICT, Computing, or Computer Science within a secondary setting. Be able to adapt quickly to different school environments. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Have a passion for technology and helping students develop digital literacy skills. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one 
Knowledge of the current ICT and Computing curriculum 
Ability to travel to schools across Felixstowe and surrounding areas 
Excellent communication and organisational skills
