New opportunity! Secondary PE Teacher – Daily Supply – Chelmsford

We are seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Secondary PE Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time work depending on your availability, with the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools. Ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, daily supply assignments provide the chance to build experience across different settings while maintaining a flexible schedule. You will be working across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Chelmsford and nearby areas. Each setting offers a unique environment, providing the opportunity to gain experience with different school cultures, teaching teams and student groups. Daily supply work is ideal for teachers who enjoy adapting to new environments and making a positive impact wherever they work. We are looking for both male and female PE Teachers who can confidently step into planned lessons at short notice and deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

• Contract duration: Ongoing
• Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 8:15 – 15:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be a flexible and reliable PE Teacher who can quickly adapt to different school environments. You will have strong classroom management skills and be comfortable teaching both practical and theory-based PE lessons.

What you’ll need to apply

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).

Qualified Teacher Status
