We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bishop’s Stortford that is looking for a Learning Support Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. The school prides itself on creating a positive, supportive and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and personally. You’ll be joining a friendly school community where staff work collaboratively to ensure children feel supported, valued and confident in their learning.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, caring and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting children and helping them reach their potential. You should ideally have previous experience supporting children with SEN; however, this is desirable rather than essential, as we are also keen to hear from candidates with the right attitude and transferable experience. You will be confident building positive relationships with pupils and able to provide encouragement and reassurance where needed. You should be reliable, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to create a positive experience for the children you support.
