Job start date: 08/06/2026 | Pay: £92 - £105 Per DAY | School type: Primary School
Immediate opportunity! 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Cromer
At 4myschools, we are working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive mainstream schools located in coastal communities, who are seeking dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs. These schools pride themselves on providing calm, nurturing and well‑structured learning environments, where inclusion, wellbeing and personalised support are at the heart of daily practice. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an individual pupil, supporting them throughout the school day to access learning, develop independence and engage positively with their peers. The role will involve implementing tailored strategies linked to EHCPs, supporting emotional regulation, communication and social interaction, assisting with differentiated classroom activities, and promoting positive behaviour in line with each school’s values and policies. You may be supporting pupils with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, or cognition and learning needs, and will work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams to ensure consistency, safeguarding and progress. Due to the location of these schools across coastal areas, flexibility and the ability to adapt confidently to different settings is essential.
- Contract duration: Ongoing
- Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
- Age groups: Primary School
