The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated Business Studies specialist with the ability to engage and motivate Key Stage 4 students. They will possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people develop an understanding of business concepts and the wider commercial world. We are looking for a qualified teacher who holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, although applications from confident and capable Early Career Teachers will also be considered. Previous experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 level, including GCSE examination classes, would be highly advantageous. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students of varying abilities to achieve their potential. They will be confident in planning engaging schemes of work, monitoring student progress, and adapting their teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners.
