We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Design Technology Teacher to join our network of secondary schools in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work, whether you’re seeking day-to-day cover, short-term placements, or longer-term assignments. As a Supply Design Technology Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided. Inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and confidence. Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs.

• Contract duration: Ongoing
• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Age groups: Secondary School

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent teaching qualification. Has experience teaching Design Technology within a UK secondary school. Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Is flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting student learning. Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

Requirements for this role
