This small village primary school in the Eye area of Suffolk offers a calm and community-focused setting, where pupils are well known as individuals and supported to engage positively with their learning. As a supply teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining routine and continuity, whether covering short-term absences or stepping into longer-term placements. About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be confident delivering lessons across a range of primary year groups and able to adapt quickly when moving between classes or settling into a longer-term role. A flexible and proactive approach is important, alongside the ability to follow plans and manage behaviour effectively within an established classroom environment. You should be comfortable building rapport with pupils and staff, contributing to a positive and focused learning atmosphere. This role would suit a teacher who enjoys variety but is equally happy to take on more consistent responsibilities when longer-term opportunities arise.

What you’ll need to apply

Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred for this role. 
Experience working within UK primary schools is expected. 
Strong classroom management skills are essential for both short-term and ongoing cover.
