Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Ipswich? We are working with a range of secondary schools seeking reliable and adaptable Humanities Teachers to provide day-to-day supply cover across subjects such as History, Geography and Religious Studies. This role offers the flexibility to choose when you work while gaining experience in a variety of school settings. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build classroom experience, daily supply provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ learning. We work with a number of secondary schools across Ipswich, ranging from larger academies to smaller community schools. These schools are committed to providing inclusive learning environments where students are encouraged to develop academically and personally. As a supply teacher, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning and ensuring students remain engaged throughout the school day. As a Daily Supply Humanities Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students in their learning across a range of Humanities subjects.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Have experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting. Be confident delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom expectations. Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills. Be passionate about engaging students and supporting their progress.

What you’ll need to apply

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Ability to travel to schools across the Ipswich area. 
Flexibility to accept bookings at short notice. 
Experience teaching more than one Humanities subject would be advantageous. 
Strong organisational skills and a professional approach to supply teaching.
